The Accredited Investor standard should be abolished completely. This standard is arbitrary and capricious.
There exists no such standard for purchases in the consumer market. The public is free to take on as much debt and financial risk as the market will allow with no potential for wealth generation.

The private securities market has been segregated long enough. It's time for all our citizens to have equal protection before the law.

The abolition of the Accredited Investor standard would not reduce the reporting requirements of any issuing entity it would only serve to increase the freedom and liberty of the American public.
