I would like to thank the commission for the opportunity to comment anonymously and for the initiative to enhance the accredited investor definition. The commission should consider completely removing all investor restrictions on investing. Removing the accredited investor requirements will allow the commission to better focus their efforts on the root cause of problems within our markets, which is rampart fraud. Every offering should be registered with a single filing that provides the commission with enough detail to enforce the law and investors with enough detail to make a decision or perform due diligence. The current framework does not promote a fair market, does not prevent fraud and creates unneeded work for the commission, investors and issuers.
