Dear Chairman Schapiro:
Please reinstate the uptick rule. I have been investing in my 401k for the last 18 years. I have stopped investing anything because the short selling games have got out of hand. How can anyone justify short sellers ganging up and driving companies capital into the ground. On the street we have laws against steeling. Why not here? Who in their right mind would invest hard earned money for retirement in this enviroment.
If the uptick rule is not going to be reinstated. Would you please make it possible for investors to remove their money from the market without penalties?
