Request reinstatement of the uptick rule that prevents "bear traders" from manipulating the stock market. This rule worked very satisfactory for 70 years until changed and it resulted in a disaster during 2007/2008.
I was investor in several bank stocks until my IRA and 401K was drastically reduced in 2007/2008.
I will not be investing in stocks until changes are made to keep short sellers from using naked shorts and lack of an uptick rule.
Request the uptick rule be reinstated and made very strong.
