It is time for the SEC to get the aggressive short selling practices under control. I believe the market wide permanent solution is needed to ensure we don't have the market manipulation by short sellers that we have had in 2008-2009. This manipulation of the market should never happen again. Businesses and individuals have been severely hurt by these aggressive practices. The solution needs to be permanent and not have exceptions as exceptions will only lead to future abuse of the market. It is time for the SEC to get tough on these individuals and make the market fair for everyone once again.
