I'd like to voice my opinion on the uptick rule chnages you're contemplating. I want to object to the practice of "borrowing" someone else's stock from a broker then selling it short and buying the short expecting it to increase in value at practically no cost to the trader.
This is absurd and obviously done without the stock owner's knowledge. If you don't actually own an equity you shouldn't be able to trade it. It's not yours. Hands off!
