Dear Madam:
(To use the tried and true requisite salutation/beginning of the moneyed, influential industry flacks), "I welcome the opportunity..... Well, actually no I do not. Rather, I am appalled at this apparent-- once again-- appease the groundlings exercise in futility that is this comment period, much as the three or four that have preceeded this one in the illusion that is SHO reform, now goin' on about FIVE YEARS.
You have somewhere about a nine to one ratio of often heartfelt and heart rending letters from the common folk, pleading for a return to fair markets and sanity Vs. polished industry flacks' letters pleading for a continuation of the license to steal.
Just once, do the right thing and take a giant step toward restoring some sense of a level playing field in place of the national embarrassment that U.S equity markets have become.
