Dear Mrs. Murphy,
I am writing this letter to oppose The Securities and Exchange Commissions proposal of amendments to Regulation SHO under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 (Exchange Act).
With fourteen years of trading experience as a trader in the US equity market, I can honestly say that the reinstatement of the up tick rule would make the playing field tilted towards the market makers who would then be the only participants who would be allowed to legally short stocks for their own interest.
Therefore, I am opposing the reinstatement of up tick rule proposed by SEC.
Sincerely,
Alphonse Soued
