As a stock owner for over 50 years and an active trader for the last 10 years, the elimination of the uptick rule and the ignoring of the naked short rule have prevented the small investor from equal treatment in the market. I previously protested to the SEC and received a many paged canned response that the SEC was sure that they knew better. The opinions and actions of the Cox SEC only allowed the hedge funds to destroy good corporations and their share holders.
Please re-impose the uptick rule and enforce the naked short rule.
