Forty years ago, I was able to afford college by taking my babysitting money and investing in the stock market. The rules have changed now - and frankly, I don't believe that the market is fair. Please reinstate the uptick rule - I believe the absence of this rule, combined with the greed of many CEOs and CFOs, caused the massive economic downturns we have today. Wall Street is Main Street - take a look at my pension plan Better yet, please understand that the perception of a fair market will encourage our new generations to invest in American business, and participate in the American dream.
Reinstate the previous uptick rule.
