There is nothing wrong with shorting equities it helps to establish an accurate market price.
Is there going to be a down tick rule for purchasing equities?
It seems to me that prices being over done to the upside is part of the problem that the economy is dealing with right now.
I say no thank you to re-instating the uptick rule.
