Please reinstate the uptick rule, with a large spread, to stop the insane beating down a stock to enhance a few individuals that have no interest in investing, but only making profits by destroying a company. GE would be an excellent example. Along with the shorting comes all the planted rumors to support this insane idea.

Also, just as important, is the naked shorts that are overlooked by the SEC.

The average 401K investor has no chance and should not be in the market until these rules are brought back and made stronger than before.

I hope you have the public in mind when you meet and make decisions upon these very important issues.

There is no place or value in continuing as the SEC has done in the past, with these issues.
