why was the short sales rules changed in 2007? i belive we need to at a min reinstated the cancled rules. the uptick rule and laws regulating the etf witch get around other regulations is rediculess. i have a father who can no longer retire because his stock got shorted so bad that it will be three years b4 the stock is worth anything again, if it will come back cuz most poeple are scared to buy stocks in the future. i know i am.
