Please restore the old "up tic" rule.
The purpose of the market for the vast majority of people is to take the money they have earned and saved and invest it in companies they have selected.
These people do not want speculators and professional trading firms manipulating the stocks of the companies they have no interest in other than to create market confusion and panic.
It is a sad day when the real investors interests are placed behind speculators and day traders in the name of "liquidity". "Liquidity" is a term created by people who don't want to invest, but want to "churn" accounts to make commissions. Once again the real investor is not protected.
