I support this amendment. The 2 proposed rules will allow fair and appropriate compensation for whistleblowers under the described circumstances. It is important to me that we appropriately incentivize people in position to come forward with information about unlawful activity. Whistleblowers are patriots, shining a spotlight in the dark recesses invisible to the public and government, and it is important we treat them as such.
I want thank the SEC for all you are doing to restore investor faith in our capital markets. For the first time in a long time, I have hope.
