It is my personal opinion that this request should be denied.
If UBS AG and Credit Suisse AG claim to already be in compliance with with corresponding requirements of Switzerland, then it should not be a challenge to reproduce compliance with US regulatory agencies. Foreign entities should not be given special treatment.
