Dear Commission,
This is to let you know I support the SEC's proposal requiring disclosure of the CEO-to-worker pay ratio, as required by the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act. The outsized sums wasted on CEO compensation would be better spent on research, development, and paying salaries that keep up with the cost of living and with inflation. And perhaps this would make boards think twice before awarding ridiculous amounts of cash on their cronies and investing it back in their companies instead.
