I am a share-holder in numerous accounts with TIAA-CREF. I am writing in support of the provisions of Dodd-Frank. Specifically, I believe it is important for executives of publicly held companies to compute and disclose the ratio of a chief executives pay to that of a typical employee. In fairness to stockholders, employees and the work force in general, it seems nonsensical that such transperancy should not be automatic. Sadly, it seems, the powers that be hide behind privilege to keep stakeholders in the dark. Please enforce the rule of law in this matter.
