I would like to voice my concerns over offering voting rights to entities that have no actual ownership in a stock. Derivative holders should not have a say in any votes on a given stock. Derivatives can be created with shares created by market makers for “liquidity” This could be a loop hole to abuse the system to sway a vote with no actual fiduciary responsibility. If a stock is held by a person or any entity they have ownership in that business and it should not be disseminated through loop holes. If voting rights are wanted they should be purchased just like every other stock holder. You are trying to devalue the ownership of a stock to cater to larger markey players and it is not fair.
