To whom it may concern:

What the ever bajesus living BS on a stick is this? In no way, shape or form should derivatives have the right to vote in a shareholder election. They do not own the underlying asset.

Time and time and time again we see the SEC modify or update rules with no thought to the abuse that will come of it and THIS will be abused.

Most especially from stocks that are mainly held by household investors. Allowing a derivative holder to vote would so seriously imbalance the process as to make an absolute mockery of it.

If you are not a citizen of a country, you don't get to vote in its elections. If you do not own the underlying asset, you don't get to vote in shareholder proposals.
