I write this email in support of file No. S7-06-22 and the proposed amendments to modernize the rules governing beneficial ownership reporting. Accelerating the filing deadlines for schedules 13D and 13G beneficial ownership reports, expanding the application of regulations 13D-G to certain derivative securities, further clarifying the circumstances under which 2 or more persons have formed a group that would be subject to beneficial ownership reporting obligations and requiring that schedules 13D and 13G by filed using a structured, machine readable data language are all great amendments to modernize our rules and improve transparency. The proposed amendments will help improve the transparency around securities lending and short positions and thus will further help level the playing field for household investors in regards to market fairness and transparency. I applaud the SEC for continuing to further improve the transparency and fairness of our markets and implore them to continue pushing further.
