After reviewing S7-06-22 in regards to the proposed timeframes I would firstly like to say this is a much more efficient approach that will hopefully prevent the ambiguous reporting currently operating through institutional faculties, however it is not stressed enough the punitive actions for misreporting or incorrect asset attainment. A small fine for these institutions to carry on abusing a flawed system is simply the cost of doing business for them and is not in any way taken seriously, I understand the SEC's difficult position in acquiring transparent data but it is simply not enough to give minor fines to potential manipulators of failure to delivers and partially owned asset classes.
