I am a retail investor I am in support of shortening the Standard Settlement Cycle to T+1. In this age of technological advancements such as worldwide access to high-speed internet, advances in computer processing speed, and blockchain technology, there is no reason that settlements should take more than T+0; I am encouraged to learn that the SEC is moving in this direction. The longer the time to process a trade the longer there is for bad actors to manipulate any number of factors or even fail to deliver the security. Shortening the Settlement Cycle to T+1 is a step in the right direction towards a more free market. Thank you, Jen Rankin Portland, OR
