I whole-heartedly support reducing the settlement cycle to T+0. I acknowledge this proposal is only T+1, but I believe this to be the first step in the right direction.
Reducing the duration of the settlement cycle will have numerous beneficial effects on the market and on investors as whole, including but not limited to
Better Price Discovery
Reduced Rate of Failure to Delivers
More Accurate Recordkeeping
Increased Investor Trust
