I agree with this rule change, but dont understand why settlement is not t+0? Why does it take two years to implement this rule? We no longer require a horse to send our orders from exchange to exchange. In this age we have instant communication. When I purchase an item on my debit card wouldnt it be nice if I had t+2 to pay for it? Why are these luxuries given when they can be used nefariously? Please continue to level the trading field for retail investors, and this rule is a step in that direction. Thank you.
