I am in favor of heavily regulating all major entities in the market. With technology as fast and efficient as it is, organizations can no longer justify being self-regulating. Many have proven themselves unworthy of such trust and unable or unwilling to comply with higher regulatory standards. Theres conflict of interest from top to bottom, particularly with the DTCC, whom I feel especially need hard regulations and oversight.
