 To whomever reads this,

The addition of exemptions for the most powerful parties in the US Stock Market is an indication that the market is either fraudulent or inefficient.

How is an investor supposed to have faith in the market if the policymakers are making policies that prevent the rules from being applied to the biggest players?

Making a market that investors have faith in is easy, since all you have to do is make rules that are fair to all parties, yet the SEC is instead introducing rules that benefit the rich and hinder the rest of the general population.

Is the SEC no longer interested in fair or efficient markets or is there some fundamental flaw with the current market that requires the SEC to actively ruin the fairness and efficiency?
