March 10, 2023 How about holding our elected leaders to some standard first? The former president and three dozen members of his party in congress refused to disclose their investments and made money off tax payers dollars that went to companies addressing the covid pandemic, as well as insider trading ahead of other bills that provided corporate welfare. Sure there needs to be ethical standards for government employees, but if the politicians are allowed to play games then these ethics rules are simply window dressing.
