To whom it may concern, This email is regarding and in support of proposal S7-02-22 concerning the classification of crypto-based trading platforms as securities exchanges. I believe this is the correct way to classify these new trading platforms as many of the assets traded on them behave in much the same way as traditional securities and can even influence trading on traditional stock exchanges in some cases. This is especially true for tokenized stock which is purportedly backed 1-to-1 by the underlying stock, as well as other tokenized versions of traditional securities. Classification of crypto-based trading platforms, both centralized and decentralized, as securities exchanges will make it easier to regulate these new types of securities and ensure they cannot be used to circumvent existing securities regulations. -Ethan Mullins
