I am an Air Force veteran. Ive spent over a decade of my life studying language, cyber operations, and for lack of a better term: online behavior.

The trends that Ive observed in my extensive and taxpayer-expensive trainings regarding language, how its used online, and the nuances behind politicizing that terminology are strange in their variance, from benign to politically and socio-geographically motivated, Ive seen it all.

That being said, the continued identification of Market Makers as Brokers is a failure to recognize their lack of motivation to act as price discovery primaries. They are not an exchange, and should be prohibited from acting as such.

Or, if they are allowed to continue in this function, the price selection which they provide through naked shorting when shares are not available should be conducted on a lit exchange.

Handling money transfers in dark pools is antithesis to capitalism.
