The fact that there are numerous individuals of means and wealth fighting against this ruling on their own behalf, or as is often the case with politicians, on behalf of their wealthy benefactors, should be enough motivation to pass it. Failing that, it should be immediately clear to any rational individual that opposition to this is in direct relation to continued attempts to hide misbehavior behind walls of meaningless bureaucracy. The only purpose in their opposition is to ensure that the "average" person has no visibility into the games they play behind closed doors. Simply put, it's time the government started working to the benefit of the 99% and not the 1% and while this may not put main street level with wall street, it is substantially better than what exists today. This rule and all others should be designed and implemented for the benefit of CITIZENS, and despite what these billionaires might claim, corporations are NOT CITIZENS. Any idiot (myself included) with a modicum of effort and time can point out the multitude of conflicts of interest amongst those fighting against this and letting them and their corrupt government lapdogs (yes, we see you Hester Peirce), continue to control and drain the wealth of this country penny by penny.
