April 18, 2023 Trying to regulate decentralized exchanges will further drive business and startups away from the US, hurting American exceptionalism, the economy, and interests in the long term. Regulate what CAN be regulated, and leave alone what cannot be regulated. Centralised actors can and should be regulated, but decentralized exchanges cannot and should not. This is a fools errand when there were companies begging for sensible light touch regulation. It is simply unfathomable that the SEC would propose such superfluous regulation.
