April 18, 2023 Please pass this proposal and regulate crypto exchanges. Crypto exchanges must be regulated to insure a safe stock market. If crypto exchanges are not regulated, wire and securities fraud will grow rampant through the creation of counterfeit shares on exchanges. Locates and swaps of tokenized shares are two methods hedge funds use to naked short stocks. Hundreds of young, innovative companies have been bankrupted by Wall Street's naked shorting. Your duty is to protect investors, NOT anti-capitalism businesses. Protecting anti-capitalism businesses in UNAMERICAN. Just what our foreign adversaries salivate for - the undermining and destruction of our economy and standing in the world. Crypto exchanges must be regulated and not allowed to operate in darkness where crime can, has, and will exponentially explode if crypto becomes unchecked. Shame on anyone who would accept less. Any doubters of crypto-regulation are suspect. Tax evasion, money laundering, market manipulation, foreign political donations .... all those crimes and more can be committed on an unregulated exchange. Regulate crypto exchanges to protect the USA. You may still have time to save the US economy. Thank you
