 Dear Sir/Madam,
Thank you for the opportunity to comment on proposal s7-02-22n, following the re-opening of the comment period. I am concerned that NOT going ahead with the suggested proposals to regulate cryptocurrency asset trading, with particular regard to their potential (and actual)interaction with traditional stock market practice, will be a grave mistake.
Lack of adequate regulation, in this area, has already had very detrimental effects on a number of heavily shorted stocks (such as AMC and GME,) as financial institutions have concealed FTDs, resulting from illegal naked shorting of these stocks. To avoid further damage to these and other stocks, and also to avoid further erosion of confidence in the structure of the markets, I would like to support the proposals that the SEC has proposed.
Many thanks for taking the time to read my comments.
