April 17, 2023 As an individual investor, I endorse this regulation, which aims to eliminate gaps that should not have existed in the first place. Furthermore, I suggest that a thorough investigation be conducted to determine which parties oppose this and similar measures intended to close these loopholes. Feedback from entities that could potentially exploit these gaps should not be given significant weight, except as a testament to their potential motives. After all, any sizable, profit-driven organization not taking advantage of these loopholes would be the most vocal supporter, as it would restrict competitors that do manipulate such technicalities. I am grateful for Gary Gensler's dedication to the interests of individual investors like myself. It is crucial that the SEC is led by someone who is committed to safeguarding the welfare of household investors.
