As a father I am worried for my family's financial security and future if this proposal affects cryptocurrencies or the acquisition of them for U.S. persons. We are heavily invested (almost 100%) in crypto and look at it as a way to provide for our kids future. If this proposal is intended to allow the SEC to regulate crypto why is the term \"crypto\" not mentioned once in these pages? The ambiguity is causing me mental anguish. We applaud your efforts to protect us, but if hindering our ability to provide for our children's future comes into play with this proposal, you would be doing us a disservice and possibly violating our constitutional rights to freedom of speech. Please understand, America needs to be on the forefront of innovation and allow crypto to thrive, not do everything it can to slow it down. Our kids will suffer this way too. Please do the right thing and do the proper reviews and studies and include language that is easily discernable about who or what will be affected. DeFi has been a boon to us and allowed us to realize the American Dream that had been unattainable until crypto's arrival. This proposal should not pass in its current form as it could be detrimental to U.S. citizens who invest in crypto on any exchange/DeFi platform and is in my opinion, illegal against the U.S. Constitution. Thank you for your time and efforts.
