I find it hard to believe that after last weeks RMBS--sell down and other fat fingered stock runs, that the SEC wouldn't completely ban HTF. The SEC created electronic trading to reduce spreads and crete ECN to help the small investor. HTF, use super computer algo, to capture small arb, in pricing of securities, especially the ETF marketplace( another device to help the small investor) No HTF should be banded completely period
