Hey, thanks for looking out for us, the American public citizen. You have been doing so weel instilling in me the fact that the markets are free, open, and operate without influence. I am certain that if I just work hard, save money, invest in stocks that I will be able to just make retirement when I am 75 and live for 5 more years and then die. Have you found my sarcasm yet? If not, then reread that and understand that everything I have learned in the last 2 years is that this is a transfer of wealth from the blue collar class to the white collar 0.5%er criminals. Why do we even have any ‘rules’ if no one is there to enforce them or if the penalties are so minimal – they are considered the cost of doing business. If I could not show up at work and still get paid but get docked 2% of my paycheck, why even go to work, I will take the 98% and keep breaking the attendance rules. This is egregious that we need to have rules and comments and nonsense for these market makers to continue to operate with impunity. Do your job or go home.
