March 24, 2023 This rule is another transparent attempt to let market makers off the hook. The general public has completely lost faith in the SECs ability, and intention, to hold bad actors in the market accountable. Enforce existing rules, and stop trying to pass exemptions for bad actors to existing laws (that were designed to protect every day investors). Chairman Gensler should be ashamed of himself, quite frankly.
