March 23, 2023 As an international household investor, I am disgusted by the lack of parity and fairness within the US markets. The provision of exemptions for risk-mitigating hedging activities, bona fide market-making activities, and liquidity commitments will further degrade the quality of the markets. What is the point of these rules if complex exemptions are created that undermine the SEC's mandate to protect investors and promote fairness in US markets? I firmly reject this proposal, as it does not provide protection for investors, nor does it improve fairness in US markets. We all need to be held to the same rules and standards, and the creation of complex exemptions and loopholes undermines the integrity of the US markets. Sincerely, An investor in the US markets.
