As a retail investor, family man and American citizen I am against this proposal. I object to proposed rule S7-01-23 which exempts non reporting companies from registering certain security offerings if they are sold exclusively to accredited investors. It creates a less fair market in an already INCREDIBLY unfair and completely opaque stock market (and that’s putting it mildly). Retail investors and the common man deserves a government that will protect them from the maliciousness of bad actors in the stock market INCLUDING the market makers that get to bend the rules to their will only to receive tiny fines.
