Liquidity only comes from selling securities they do not yet own and this is and should be illegal as everyone in the system is abusing the locate function and those securities never get purchased and end up being ftds.
I demand that no naked short selling of any kind be allowed and that locates should be disabled If no stock exists no sale of the stock should be allowed What needs to happen is a buy order should be put through and each person sees the buy order in their brokerage app of choice and THEN decides if they want to sell at that price. Give us (retail investors) access to real price discovery not the fake price we see every day.
All ftds need to be covered and closed
