Why? Because thatsystem is open to abusing the locate function and those securities never get purchased and end up being ftds.

NO Naked shorting, no exceptions.
Not even for market makers.
Make the market out of what actually exists.
Not out of what \"might\exist.
Any deviation from thst reality will always incorporate exploitation, as that is always the most profitable route.
Pleas put an end to exploitation in our markets.
