Hi! This proposal is absolutely a step in the right direction, so I’m writing to support it. I hope you recognize that further actions must be taken on your part to protect the public and individual investors. Please end IOUs, or what’s commonly referred to as naked selling. They have no place in an actual free and fair market. Greed and corruption on the part of these market makers is not only destructive to the companies that they’re trying to short into oblivion, but also to the individual, retail investors who hold that these companies deserve a fair shot at success. There’s nothing fair about short selling millions of shares of a stock that they don’t actually own. Thank you for your time! Catherine
