March 15, 2023 There shouldnt be any exemptions to this rule. There should be zero conflict of interest in the market. Simply because a hedge fund or market maker made a bad bet should not allow them a loophole to get out of it and tip the scales in their favor. Weve already commented on this rule once before, there is no good reason you should allow this exemption other than you are on the side of market makers and want to screw over household investors, the people you are supposed to be protecting.
