I am a household and individual investor. I fully support this rule being enacted in order to prevent conflicts of interest that could have negative outcomes on my own retirement and/or investments. I am concerned about the exceptions that are being put into this however. Once exceptions are introduced into rules, it allows for gray zone interpretations and for companies to push the line of what may or may not be allowed. I would fully support the previous rendition of this rule that did not have the exceptions built into it.
