January 27, 2023 Conflicts of interests in our current stock market are rampant. Industry insiders sit on the boards of regulatory agencies like FINRA and DTCC. Also, PFOF information shows industry insiders trends that may be developing in the market. Short hedge funds should not have market maker status, as they can naked short, as well as create shares for market liquidity and then drive down share price by flooding the market with shares. I am for Any rule changes that give retail traders a fair chance in the market, because we certainly dont have it now.
