The $5 million limit per Regulation A offering is several times more than a typical VC deal was (before the implosion), and, taken together with the excellent Testng the Waters (TTW) provision and low inflation rate, we believe that $5 million remains sufficient for direct offerings.
Congress should see to enforcement of their law which requires that any document available in a reading room be made available on-line. Today, Thompson (Canada) rakes in over $100 from each reader of the 1-A (counting what it costs to see ammendments. Is John Q. Public only welcome to consider direct opportunities if he can afford plenty to peek?
