I support adding more detail to the auditor's report, as found in a company's annual reports.

Currently audit opinions inadequately disclose the information used to make the judgments and the analysis of same. The analysis and information and decision are complex processes. Disclosure provides significant new information, the cost of which is minimal - since it already exists, and the benefits of which are large. In addition, how management responds to the auditor's findings conveys significant information, again at modest cost, to the quality of management.
