Subject: Re: DISCLOSING the pay ratio of CEO to worker

May 14, 2012

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission SHOULD ADOPT and IMPLEMENT the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform & Consumer Protection Act that requires companies to report their CEO-to-worker pay ratio to investors.

Of course, you don't HAVE TO!!! You're not a commission, not a government agency.

BUT YOU SHOULD adopt this provision of the Dodd-Frank bill IF - I repeat, IF - your commission exists to protect and serve the PUBLIC interest, as contrasted to the interests of the financial enterprises on Wall Street.

I request that you take this clear & simple action to support the public interest. Am I mistaken about your JOB? Isn't it your JOB to do that? If that ISN'T your job, (if I have a misapprehension about the purpose of your commission) then I will appreciate you for telling me what you think your "job" actually IS?
